Bugaboos Bakery Café, located at the end of main street, just before you hit the slopes, opened its doors 1996. Over the years we refined the European style bakery to what it is now; a bakery and coffee shop that strives to have the best quality possible.
That’s why we make our own hot chocolate with Dutch imported cocoa, milk and whipped cream, coffee from Italian Lavazza espresso and baked goods with real butter or olive oil and the freshest ingredients possible.
We open our doors daily at 7.30a.m. and close at 5.00 p.m., with some evening openings on Friday and Saturdays, for drinks and desserts. We’re conveniently located at the end of the Vance Creek Hotel boardwalk next to the Silver Star Properties/Remax office.
Bugaboos offers a wide variety of freshly baked goods for breakfast and lunch, warm items such as soups, paninis, sausage rolls and meat pies. During the après ski, we serve wine and beer as well as alcoholic coffees and hot chocolates. This goes perfectly with our pastries and desserts.
Because Bugaboos has only fifty seats, it fills up fast over the lunch rush, so it is advisable to come for an early or late lunch and ski while the slopes are not so busy.
If you don’t know where to find Bugaboos Bakery Café, just follow your nose, there is a big chance that we are just baking our award winning apple strudel or cinnamon buns.
